Eu queria agradecer por toda a disponibilidade, pela hospitalidade e pela simpatia da parte dos nossos parceiros em Hranice. Queria agradecer em especial à escola da professora Pavlina e a ela em especial pelo apoio que nos deu, e aos sítios onde decorreu o nosso estágio em termos de treino e prática, lá também contámos com a ajuda do Filip que nos davam as orientações necessárias para podermos realizar as tarefas.

Os maiores agradecimentos vão para os meus professores Paulo Ribeiro e Duarte Duarte, pela oportunidade que me deram pela segunda vez de poder participar num projeto como este.

Acknowledgments

I wanted to thank all the availability, the hospitality and the friendliness on the part of our partners in Hranice. I want to thank in particular the school Pavlina teacher and her in particular for the support they gave us, and to the places ensued our stage in terms of training and practice, there too we count with Filip help give us the necessary guidelines for we can perform the tasks.

The biggest thanks go to my teachers and Paulo Ribeiro and Duarte Duarte, for the opportunity they gave me for the second time be able to participate in a project like this.

O que pensavam antes e o que realmente foi?

As minhas expetativas eram boas, pois já tinha tido uma experiência como esta antes. Mas como é óbvio tinha as minhas expetativas mais altas, devido ao programa que está a ser feito para esta viagem de três semanas. Como os professores estão a tentar fazer para que tenhamos mais visitas e sítios onde irmos visitar, como monumentos, fábricas, entre outras coisas. Enquanto estive lá as minhas expetativas foram melhorando, pois fui vendo que tínhamos sempre alguma coisa para fazer como visitas, o estágio no local apropriado, algumas visitas a outras cidades e as visitas a estâncias de neve.

Este ano as minhas expetativas foram superadas no que toca a alimentação, pois este ano a comida era muito boa e foi sempre pratos de que gostava e eram pratos tradicionais. Em termos de hospitalidade aquele país tem uma boa qualidade e muito boa demonstração de como acolhem as pessoas e tratam delas, quer sejam turistas ou residentes lá.

Também tivemos lidação com outras pessoas e com estudantes de lá, que nos ajudaram e acolheram muito bem. No que toca ao país em si é muito bonito, mesmo em paisagem, florestação, gastronomia e cultura. O que diferenciou mais esta viagem da outra foi em termos de estação do ano e as temperaturas.

What thought before and what actually was?

My expectations were good because he had already had an experience like this before. But of course had my highest expectations, due to the program that is being done for this three-week trip. As teachers are trying to do so that we have more visits and places where we go to visit, as monuments, factories, among other things. While I was there my expectations were improving, because I was seeing that we always had something to do as visits, the stage at the appropriate place, some visits to other cities and snow resorts visits.

This year my expectations were surpassed when it comes to food, for this year the food was very good and was always dishes that were i liked and traditional dishes. In terms of hospitality that country has a good quality and very good demonstration of how to welcome people and they treat of them, whether tourists or residents there.

We also had lidation with other people and with students there, who helped us and welcomed very well. As far as the country itself is very beautiful, even in landscape, forestry, gastronomy and culture. What more has differentiated this trip the other was in terms of the season and temperatures.

O que ganhámos com o projeto e o que recomendamos aos colegas

Com esta experiência ganhei mais experiência na área de trabalho de campo, e a experiência de trabalhar em países diferentes que não conhecia, nem o pais nem a cultura dele, também tive em contacto com pessoas de novas línguas, de um pais diferente e com uma cultura muito diferente da minha. Com este projeto tive a oportunidade de fazer duas viagens que foram muitos diferentes, pois numa fiz outro tipo de estágio e não fizemos tantas visitas nem tivemos muito contacto nem com muitos alunos nem pessoas do pais, mas este ano já foi muito diferente, devido a ter um estágio onde trabalhei no que gostava, onde tive contacto com muitas pessoas do pais, como alunos, professores e com outros trabalhadores de diversas empresas.

Eu recomendo aos meus colegas este tipo de projetos, pois é uma experiência única, e se tiverem a oportunidade de poderem entrar e participar em projetos como este não recusem, pois ao inicio pode parecer um pouco difícil de lidar com muitas coisas quer em termos de cultura, de pais e a maneira de viver e de estar, também pode parecer um pouco confuso estar três semanas longe das pessoas que gostamos, mas só temos de pensar que é uma oportunidade única e que poderá não voltar a haver, no entanto se formos a ver três semanas passam rápido, porque estamos sempre entretidos e a fazer montes de coisas, logo quando damos por nós já passou o tempo.

What have gained from the project and what we recommend to colleagues

With this experience I gained more experience in field work area, and the experience of working in different countries did not know, neither the parents nor his culture, also had contact with people of new languages, a different country and a very different from my culture. With this project I had the opportunity to make two trips that were many, as did a different type of stage and did so many visits not had much contact or many students or people of the country, but this year has been very different, due to have a stage where I worked in what i liked, where I had contact with many people in the country, as students, teachers and other employees of different companies.

I recommend to my colleagues this kind of project because it is a unique experience, and if given the chance they can enter and participate in projects like this do not refuse since the beginning may seem a bit difficult to deal with many things in terms of culture, parents and the way of living and being, can also seem a bit confusing to be there three weeks away from people we like, but we just have to think it's a unique opportunity and that can not come back to have , however if we to see three weeks pass fast because we are always entertained and to do lots of things, so when we find ourselves already spent time.

O que fizemos durante o estagio

Este ano tive um estágio muito enriquecido, antes de partirmos para esta aventura, nós tivemos de fazer 30h da língua checa, aprendemos a dizer algumas das palavras mais importantes que iríamos precisar, como bom dia (dobrý den), boa noite (dobrý večer)

Na empresa:

 

Eu estive a estagiar com o Marcos na escola secundária privada, eu adorei lá estar, pois tivemos a oportunidade de ajudar a passar cabos de rede do servidor para outra sala, montar e desmontar Ram’s, instalações de Windows e os seus updates, instalar programas como o Mozilla FireFox ou o Adobe Reader, a instalar impressoras, tentá-mos formatar um tablet que estava a dar imensos erros, mas infelizmente não conseguimos fazer nada dele, e por fim ele trouxe-nos um servidor que estava a dar problemas e não sabíamos o que era então desmontá-mos quase tudo e voltámos a por no sitio e ele ficou a funcionar.

Foi assim que se passaram os meus dias no trabalho, adorei a experiência e ver como eles trabalham.

Sala onde trabalhava-mos

Visitas:

Também aprendi muito sobre o país e as suas empresas. Logo no primeiro dia nós fomos visitar uma das igrejas principais de Praga, a igreja de Týn, e fomos depois passear pela ponte Čechův most.

No segundo dia, andamos muito pois tínhamos o dia todo para conhecer os monumentos mais importantes da cidade, fomos ao interior da igreja de Týn, depois passámos na ponte Carlos em direção ao Castelo de Praga, depois do castelo fomos ver a basílica e em seguida fomos para a Rua do Ouro (Golden Lane), nessa rua vimos o museu da tortura, um laboratório de alquimistas, e uma casa onde eram reproduzidos filmes, ainda fomos visitar o jardim de Mala Strada e fomos diretos ao museu de praga, e que na parte de trás do mesmo estava o prédio dançante e por fim depois de o dia todo a andar fomos visitar a avenida wesceslass square.

No nosso ultimo dia em Praga aproveitámos a manhã para ir ver ainda alguns monumentos antes de partirmos para Hranice, fomos ver a estátua de Frank Kafka, a sinagoga de Klausen, e de Pinkas, mesmo ao lado fomos ver também o cemitério judeu, já chegámos a Hranice de noite, por isso já não vimos nada.

No dia a seguir fomos visitar a cidade de Brno, fomos ver os monumentos principais da cidade como a Igreja de S. Tiago, palácio de Klein, casa dos 4 gigantes, catedral de S. Pedro e S. Paulo, passámos também na zona onde é feito o mercado, estivemos na porta da Câmara municipal, e durante a tarde fomos ver o museu da moeda e o centro de ciência viva.

O nosso segundo dia em Hranice começou com a visita a Ostrava, pela manhã fomos visitar a fábrica metalúrgica ArcelorMittal e na parte da tarde fomos a uma fábrica de cerveja, e a alguns dos seus monumentos, passámos na câmara municipal, na Igreja evangélica de Cristo, na Praça de Masaryk e no teatro de Divadlo Antonína Dvořáka.

A nossa visita a Olomouc foi no terceiro dia em Hranice fomos ver uma universidade, tivemos lá a amanhã e depois do almoço fomos ver uma fortaleza militar, e dai partimos para os monumentos mais importantes como  a estátua da santíssima trindade e a catedral  de St. Wenceslao.

No nosso 8º dia na Republica checa fomos a uma estância de ski de trojak, eu só fiz ski por 10 minutos,pois  não gostei muito, éramos para ter passado lá 3 dias, mas infelizmente tivemos de vir logo embora logo no dia aseguir, porque estava a começar a haver uma grande tempestade de neve.

No dia em que viemos, chegámos a Hranice e fomos deixar os ski’s na escola do Prof. Pavlina e fomos para o Hotel.

Isso foi a um domingo, na segunda-feira aproveitei para descansar e durante a tarde fomos ao ginásio da escola jogar Voleibol.

Na terça seguinte, o nosso 10º dia fomos visitar uma empresa de chocolate, um atelier onde trabalhavam o vidro e também uma fábrica de whiskeys, ao final da tarde fomos a uma escola de música perto do hotel.

No dia a seguir fomos trabalhar na parte da manhã e ao final da tarde fomos jogar bowling com 2 alunas checas.

No nosso 11º dia depois do trabalho fomos a uma fábrica de especiarias e passámos também pelo centro da cidade.

O nosso 12º dia iniciou-se com a ida a Prostřední Bečva,onde lá vimos um fábrica de enchidos e o museu de Rožnov e fomos para outra estância de ski, onde ficámos 2 dias.

No dia de volta para Hranice, só passamos num moinho, onde vimos como era feita a farinha a partir da semente.

No 18º dia eu fiquei no Hotel, a Myrela tinha ficado doente e eu ofereci-me para ficar com ela, então passei o dia a ver séries.

No dia seguinte voltei a ficar no Hotel, mas desta vez fui eu que adoeci, então aproveitei para descansar, mas os meus colegas foram a uma fábrica de cerveja da Radegast e à fábrica da Hyundai.

No nosso 20º dia fomos trabalhar e durante a tarde tivemos uma pequena cerimónia onde recebemos comprovativos de participação, logo a seguir fomos ter uma aula de Robótica, onde trabalhámos com os mesmos robôs que eu já tinha trabalhado no estágio do ano anterior.

No dia a seguir fomos assistir a algumas aulas na escola primária de Hranice, as aulas foram sempre em ingles com alunos do 2º,5º e 7º anos, à tarde fomos visitar uma das fábricas da empresa Mondelēz, que fabricam variados tipos de bolachas e passámos também num castelo.

O 22º dia foi o dia em que fomos pela ultima vez ás empresas, foi uma ótima experiência.

Já estávamos a chegar ao fim, o nosso 23º dia, comecei por arrumar a mala e no período da tarde fui dar uma volta com alguns deles.

Por fim e depois de um longo dia de viagem, chegámos ao final da nossa aventura onde voltámos a casa onde já haviam saudades de tudo.

What we did during the stage This year I had a very enriched stage, before we left for this adventure, we had to do 30 hours of the Czech language, learn to say some of the most important words we would need, how good day (dobrý den), good night (dobrý večer). In the company: I have been an internship with the Marcos in private secondary school, I loved be there, because we had the opportunity to help pass the server's network cable to another room, mount and dismount Ram's, Windows installations and their updates, install programs like Mozilla FireFox or Adobe Reader, to install printers, we try to format a tablet that was giving huge mistakes, but unfortunately we could not do anything from him, and finally he brought us a server that was giving problems and we did not know what was then to disassemble almost everything and we have again by the site and he was working.

Was so passed my days at work, I loved the experience and see how they work. Visits: I also learned a lot about the country and its companies. On the first day we went to visit one of the main churches of Prague, Tyn Church, and went after touring the Cechuv most bridge.

On the second day, we walked a lot because we had all day to know the most important monuments of the city, we went to the inside of the Tyn Church, then we carried on the bridge Carlos towards the Prague Castle after the castle we went to see the basilica and then we went to the Rua do Ouro (Golden Lane), this street we saw the Museum of Torture, a laboratory alchemists, and a house where movies were played, we were still visit the Strada Bag garden and went direct to Prague museum, and that on the back of it was the dancing building and finally after walking all day we went to visit the avenue wesceslass square. On our last day in Prague we took it upon morning to go even see some monuments before we left for Hranice, went to see the statue of Frank Kafka, the synagogue Klausen, and Pinkas, right beside we also see the Jewish cemeteryalready we arrived at night of Hranice, so it not have seen anything. The day after we visited the city of Brno, we see the main monuments such as the Church of St. James, Klein palace, home of the 4 giant Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, also we passed in the area where the market is done, we were at the door of the City hall, and in the afternoon we went to see the museum of the coin and the center of life science. Our second day in Hranice began with a visit to Ostrava in the morning we visited the metallurgical plant ArcelorMittal and in the afternoon we went to a brewery, and a few of its monumentswe spent at City Hall, the Evangelical Church of Christ in the Plaza of Masaryk and theater Divadlo Antonína Dvořáka. Our visit to Olomouc was the third day in Hranice we see a university, had there tomorrow and after lunch we went to see a military fortress, and we set out to the most important monuments like the Statue of Holy Trinity and St. Cathedral Wenceslao. In our 8th day in the Czech Republic went to a Trojak ski area, I just did ski for 10 minutes because I did not like, were to have spent three days there, but unfortunately we had to just leave soon the following because was beginning to be a big snowstorm. The day we came, we arrived at Hranice and we let the ski's in Prof. school Pavlina and went to the Hotel. That was on  Sunday, I took on Monday to rest and in the afternoon we went to the school gym to play volleyball. The next Tuesday, our 10th day we visited a chocolate company, a workshop where they worked the glass and also a whiskeys factory, the evening went to a music school near the hotel. The day after we went to work in the morning and in the evening we went bowling with two Czech students. In our 11th day after work we went to a spice factory and also we passed around the city center. Our 12th day began with a trip to Prostřední Bečva, where there we saw a sausage factory and the Rožnov museum and went to another ski resort, where we stayed two days.

On the day back Hranice only we spent in a mill, where it was seen as the flour made from the seed. On the 18th days I stayed at the Hotel, the Myrela had been ill and I volunteered to stay with her, so I spent the day watching series. The next day I returned to stay at the Hotel, but this time it was me who was sick, so I took to rest, but my colleagues were a brewery of Radegast and the Hyundai plant. On our 20th day we went to work and in the afternoon we had a small ceremony where we receive proof of participation, soon after we take a class Robotics, we worked with the same robots that I had worked on previous year's stage. The day after we attend some classes at primary school Hranice, classes were always in English with students of 2, 5 and 7 years, in the afternoon we went to visit one of Mondelez company's factories, which produce various types of biscuits and we passed also at a castle. The 22nd day was the day we went the last time to companies, was a great experience.

We were already coming to an end, our 23 day, I started packing my suitcase and in the afternoon went for a ride with some of them. Finally and after a long day of travel, we reached the end of our adventure where we returned home where she had missed everything.

Viagem de regresso

Hoje acordei por volta das  6:30h, vesti-me e fui ver se não me tinha esquecido de nada no quarto de hotel, fomos ás 7h tomar o pequeno almoço.

Tinha-mos de estar lá em baixo ás 8:40h, eu cheguei 10 min antes a Prof. Pavlina  foi lá ter connosco e acompanhou-nos até ao comboio, apanha-mos-o ás 9:24h, mas chegou 10 min atrasado. A nossa viagem demorou  cerca de 3h.

Quando chegámos a praga era 12:20h, ficámos lá um bocado  à espera do senhor que nos ia levar até ao aeroporto, quando lá chegámos esperámos 2h para poder fazer o check-in, mas assim que o conseguimos fazer entrámos e fomos logo nos sentar junto à porta de embarque, ficámos lá até apanharmos o nosso voo para Lisboa.

O voo iniciou a descolagem ás 17:15h, e cheguei a Lisboa ás 19:45h, esperámos lá no aeroporto até cerca de 2h, nesse tempo tínhamos de ir jantar e dar uma voltinha pelo aeroporto até ás 22:10 para irmos para o avião, estava previsto a chegada a faro ás 22:55, mas nós chegamos 10 min antes do tempo previsto.

Quando aterrámos, fomos buscar as malas e já tínhamos os nossos familiares e professores à nossa espera para irmos para casa descansar.

The Journey Back

Today I woke up around 6: 30h, dressed, and went to see if I had not forgotten anything in the hotel room, we were at 7am to take the breakfast.

We had to be _ at 8: 40h, I arrived 10 minutes before the Prof. Pavlina was there to   accompanied us to the train-picking at 9: 24h, but arrived 10 minutes later. Our trip took about 3 hours.

When we reached Prague at 12: 20h, we were there a bit waiting for the man who would take us to the airport when we got there we waited 2 hours to be able to check-in, but as soon as we entered and we were able to do just sit next to the boarding gate, we were there until we catch our flight to Lisbon.

The flight started _ at 17: 15h, and arrived in Lisbon at 19: 45h, waited there at the airport until about 2pm, at that time we had to go to dinner and take a walk through the airport until at 22:10 to go to the plane it was expected the arrival in faro at 22:55, but we arrived 10 minutes before the allotted time.

When we landed, we searched the bags and we had our family and teachers waiting for us to go home and rest.

A Despedida de Hranice

Hoje foi o dia em que eu aproveitei para dormir um pouco mais, e acordei eram quase 11h.

Ao meio dia fui almoçar com o Marcos, o Luis, o Alexandre, o Pedro e o Tiago, comemos todos o mesmo.

Ás 14h fomos dar a ultima volta pela cidade, e alguns de nós foram ver algumas das lembranças.

Só chegámos ao hotel por volta das 16h, tive a ver um bocado de big bang theory e depois fui me despachar para ir jantar.

Eram 19h quando saímos do hotel e fomos para o pub, decidimos ir jantar fora sendo o ultimo dia.

Quando voltámos para o hotel já eram 21h e fui acabar de arrumar a mala.

The Farewell Hranice

Today was the day I took the opportunity to sleep a little longer, and I woke up it was almost 11pm.
At midday I had lunch with Marcos, Luis, Alexandre, Pedro and Tiago, ate all the same.

At 14h we went for the last tour of the city, and some of us went to see some of the memories.

Just we arrived at hotel around 16h, I saw a lot of big bang theory and then went dispatch me to go to dinner.

At 19h when we left the hotel and went to the pub, we decided to go out to dinner since was the last day. When we returned to the hotel were already 21h and I end up packing my suitcase.

Ultimo dia de estagio

Hoje acordei ás 7h, despachei-me e fui tomar o pequeno-almoço, quando eram 8h foi quando sai para ir para a empresa.

Ás 8:30h quando entrei, estava lá o Filip à nossa espera, deu-nos um servidor para vermos qual era o problema, de algo que não fazíamos ideia do que poderia ser, fizemos vários testes, e depois de várias tentativas, lá conseguimos.

Servidor que estávamos a arranjar.

Eram 11:30h, quando nos despedimos-nos do Filip e do Dalibor, foi uma experiência que gostei muito.

Assim que chegámos ao hotel, eu e o Marcos fomos comer, adorei a comida.

Fiquei a tarde toda no hotel, vi as séries e comecei a arrumar a mala.

Eram 20h quando fomos comer lá em baixo.

Last day of stage

Today I woke up at 7am, dispatched me and went to take breakfast when were 8 am was when I leaved the hotel  to go to the company.

At 8: 30h when I came, was there waiting for us Filip, gave us a server to see what was the matter, something that we had no idea of what could be, made several tests, and after several attempts, we managed .

At 11: 30h, when said goodbye to Filip and Dalibor, was an experience I enjoyed.

As soon as we reached the hotel, me and Marcos went to eat, we loved the food.

I stay all afternoon at the hotel, I saw  series and started packing my suitcase. at 20h when we eating down there.
